Due to a breach of contract by DJ’s Pool, we no longer have a pool management company nor life guards.  As a result the Claybourne Estates Pool will be closed effective Aug. 29th, 2008.  For Liability purposes we are required to have a life guard on duty for us to swim.  Please do not attempt to swim in the pool now that the pool is closed.

We apologize for the swimming season issues this year.  DJ’s has served to be difficult to work with and non-responsive to our many issues.

For the 2009 Season, CPOA will NOT be utilizing DJ’s Pools for any services as a result of past practice of their management.

Again on behalf of the Pool Committee and the CPOA Board, we apologize and ask for your continued understanding a patience as we move into the 2009 season with a new Pool Management company.

Over the past two weeks, people in this community have expressed their sympathy for the Zhang family by providing emotional support as well as donating many different kinds of items, including checks, cash, clothing, children’s toys, and kitchen ware, etc. They would like to express their appreciation to all who helped them as well as regret for not being able to thank all who did not leave their contact information directly. The Zhang family has now moved to a rented condo and is doing well. Thanks for everyone’s help, and we wish the Zhang family good luck in the future!
